Kienan Blanco, an Ingham native with deep roots in the agricultural sector, joined COSCA in 2008. With a Bachelor of Business majoring in accounting from James Cook University, completed in 2011, Kienan has become a pivotal figure within the company, currently serving as the Head of Business Development and Accountant. Kienan's professional prowess is highlighted by his problem-solving skills, creative thinking, and leadership abilities, which he employs to support both clients and colleagues. His ability to remain composed under pressure further enhances his effectiveness in the workplace.
Outside of work, Kienan is a passionate sportsman, enjoying fishing, camping, duathlon, and adventure racing. His entrepreneurial spirit is evident through his involvement with a gym business and managing a sugar cane farming property. In 2017, Kienan's contributions to COSCA were recognized with his admission as a shareholder. Committed to continuous learning, he plans to further upskill in management accounting to stay at the forefront of his field. Kienan is a dynamic individual who excels in balancing a demanding career with personal passions and entrepreneurial ventures, all while maintaining a steadfast dedication to his roots and community.
