Investing in people, shaping leaders, and leaving a lasting regional legacy.

Chris Castles’ career has been defined not only by the businesses he built, but by the people he supported. Throughout his journey, Chris invested in the leadership and next generation of Cosca — recognising potential, fostering growth, and creating opportunities regardless of background or starting point. His belief in people has shaped many of the leaders within our business today.

Beyond Cosca, Chris’ impact extended across the broader industry and wider community, including serving on the Townsville Hospital Board and holding directorship roles with ASX-listed companies such as Centrepoint Alliance. His leadership consistently balanced commercial success with a deep commitment to regional Australia.

As Chris steps back from his day-to-day role to enjoy more time with his family and pursue his passion for aviation, we at Cosca are committed to expanding that impact — extending his philosophy beyond our walls and into regional communities across Australia, supporting the next generation of entrepreneurs to follow in his footsteps.
