Brad Hoffman has spent almost 30 years helping business owners and families get more out of their self-managed super, whether that's setting up a fund for the first time or working out how to use it to buy the business premises they've been renting for years.
As Cosca's Head of SMSF, Brad leads the team behind the accounting and administration of around 400 funds across Cosca's Queensland offices, and provides the technical, taxation and strategic advice behind every one of them. He's a Registered Tax Agent and authorised representative, holds a Bachelor of Commerce and Law from the University of Queensland, and has been a Fellow of the Institute of Public Accountants since 2004.
Brad's depth of expertise is well recognised in the industry: he wrote the SMSF trust deed used by Pro-Super Australia and several other well-known providers, with more than 60,000 copies sold, and built "Superior," the first online platform for SMSF fund administration, tax and audit.
Outside of work, Brad is married with two boys and loves nothing more than a BBQ with the extended family on a weekend. In his spare time, he enjoys travel, music and reading. He also spends time and money hitting small white balls into the bush with a metal stick.
